Acts of terror hit Jakarta on Thursday, January 15, 2016
7 terrorists committed an attack and bombing in Sarinah Shopping District Jl. M.H. Thamrin, Central Jakarta. There was also shootout between the terrorists and the police.
As a result of this incident, 7 people died at the scene, both as a result of an explosion hit and also suffering from shootout. 26 people suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized at 7 hospitals in Jakarta, Gatot Subroto Army Hospital consists of nine people, Tarakan Hospital 1 people, Cipto Mangunkusumo 4, Metropolitan Hospital Medical Center (3), RS Abdi Waluyo (6), RS Husada (1) and RSIA YPK Menteng (2).
Jakarta Health Department give health services to victimssuch as the casualties evacuation to the nearest hospital, ambulance, provide health care at 7 hospitals, monitoring and report progress to the Ministry of Health.
Disaster Victim Identification team (DVI) has succeeded identifying the identity of six bodies, but has not published yet. There still one more bodies in identification process at the Police Hospital.
