Hundreds of Houses Flooded in Margaasih Bandung

Heavy rain that occurred in Bandung District and Cimahi City on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at 16:00 pm has caused flooding in the border area. Floods submerged resident area and highway with varying water heights. The floods are submerged in Margaasih sub-district. The impact caused the traffic activity of two-and four-wheeled vehicles to be hampered.

Floods that occurred in Margaasih due to flood from the Cimahi City and Bandung that makes the flow of Cicangkring river flow crossing Margaasih Village can not accommodate the flood water that spilled into the streets and settlements.

Water height varies from 10-100 cm on the highway and in the settlement of residents water height reaches 20-120 cm

There were no casualties in the incident, but hundreds of houses were flooded. There are about 150 houses flooded. In addition, heavy rains in Cimahi City that occurred this afternoon resulted in a number of roads point to flooded up to 50 cm. Adult knee-high floods occur around Main Hamlet and Melong Village, South Cimahi District.
