Boat with a 21 passengers who are still one family sunk in accident that occurred in Cirata Reservoir Blok Nusa Area Tegal Datar, Maniis sub-district, Purwakarta District on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at afternoon. A total of 7 people still in search and 7 people survived, 1 person underwent intensive treatment at Bayu Asih Local Hospital and 6 people underwent outpatient at Maniis Health Center.
Bandung SAR team dispatched the rescue team to the location by bringing SAR ship, navigation equipment, communication equipment, and complete medical equipment.
This incident occurred on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at around 14:00 pm. All passengers are one family. Most of the victims were residents of Kampung Rawabaru, Sinargalih Village, Maniis sub-district, Purwakarta District. Survivors were taken to Bayu Asih Hospital and Maniis Health Center.
The victims are planned to cross from the dock in the village of Tegaldatar to the Garden on the Tangkil Pasir Islandl. Allegedly the boat leaked and immediately drowned. Some of the victims managed to escape and seven others who disappeared were yet to be found.
