Social Health Activity TMMD in Serewen Village Yapen Island, Papua

One of a series of TMMD activities (TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa) is a Social Activity (baksos) Health. Through the implementation of health social services conducted medical examination and mass treatment conducted in Serewen Village, Poom Subdistrict, Yapen Islands, Papua Province, on Thursday, April 13, 2017, which can be reached within 4 hours drive from Serui City by fast boat.

The event was opened by the District Health Commander 17.04.03 Biak, Major CKM Warsono accompanied by Kasdim 1709 / Yawa, Padal Ops Polres Biak, representative of Health Office of Kep. Serui District, and the Health Crisis Center.

The community is very enthusiastic to follow this activity. The social activity team consists of doctors and nurses from DHO. Yapen Islands assisted health workers from Denkesyah 17.04.03 Biak. Implementation of the activities was carried out at YPK Elementary School Yen Ebenheizar Village Serewen, Poom District. The number of health teams that perform this activity consists of Denkesyah 17.04.03 Biak 12 people, Yapen Health Office District 10 people, Health Crisis Center 2 people, and security from Kodim 1709 / Yawa and Biak Local Police.
